Strike Follower feature in OnGuard 2010
General Information
When using the Strike Follower feature, Reader AUX Output 1 is used by the panel automatically. This prevents the Pre-alarm, Local I/O, and Global I/O from using AUX Output 1 for that reader.
The Strike Follower feature prevents the ACS.INI reader input/output mapping from working. This functionality is configured under the [ReaderInputOutputMapping] section in ACS.INI file. These settings are enabled by setting ReaderInputOutputMappingMode to 1 and also setting the various reader input and output settings (such as ReaderOutputAux1) to the corresponding desired output.
When the Strike Follower feature is enabled, Reader AUX Output 1 is always used. The settings in the ACS.INI file are ignored.
