Symptom
In some cases when using OnGuard installation files extracted or copied to a local drive you will see the following error during the installation:
Error 1308. source file not found: C:\Filepath.....\OG_6_4_500\Windows\winsxs\73t3z6j5.7ag\x86_Microsoft.VC80.ATL_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.050727.4053_x-ww_473666fd.cat
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. The filename may be different.
Resolution
Burning the ISO image to a DVD and installing from a DVD drive will resolve the issue. Alternatively, the ISO image can be mounted using Virtual CD/DVD software. This software emulates a disc drive and the software can be installed without burning to disc.
