How to search all user guides
Procedure Steps
The following procedures demonstrate how to search the entire set of OnGuard PDF files at once. This can help save time when you are unsure which user guides to search in. There are different procedures depending on the version of OnGuard you have installed.1) Install the latest version of Adobe Reader that is provided on the Supplementary Materials disc.
2) Click the Start button, then select All Programs > OnGuard <version> > Documentation > Search All User Guides.
3) The Search window opens. Enter a search phrase in the What word or phrase would you like to search for? field.
4) Click [Search]. A list of user guides where the search phrase is found are then listed in the Results listing window.
5) Click the "+" to the left of any user guide name listed to expand the view and see where the phrase you searched for occurs in that user guide. Click on any of the specific instances to open the user guide in Adobe Reader and go to that instance.
