How to run the Device Discovery Console in debug mode
Procedure Steps
1) Browse to the following folder on the computer where Device Discovery Console will be run in debug mode:C:\Program Files\OnGuard\Device Discovery.
2) Open the DeviceDiscoveryConsole.exe.config file for editing, using Notepad or another text editor.
3) Locate the following line in the file:
add switchValue="Error" name="DeviceDiscovery"
4) Change switchValue to "All" so that the line reads:
add switchValue="All" name="DeviceDiscovery"
5) Save and close the file.
6) Start (or restart) Device Discovery Console, and follow the procedures for which debug output is required. Debug output will be logged to the DeviceDiscoveryConsole.yyyy-mm-dd.log file (where yyyy-mm-dd is today's date) in the C:\Program Files\OnGuard\Device Discovery folder.
7) When debug output is no longer required, change switchValue back to "Error".
