How To Pre-load the Client Upgrade Files
Procedure Steps
When using the Automated Client Upgrade process, the files can be pre-loaded on the clients in order to speed up the upgrade process. This can be done even before the server is upgraded in order to ensure that clients can all install as soon as requested rather than having to wait for a download.
To pre-load the files:
- Open either the root OnGuard folder on the upgraded server, or the Program Files\OnGuard folder on the installation DVD.
- Find the file Installation Package.msi.
- Copy the file to the client machines and place in the \OnGuard\ClientUpdate folder.
