How to disable Language Packs in OnGuard versions 6.6.415 and higher
Procedure Steps
Starting in 6.6.415 the OnGuard language packs are packaged in the installation. They will be used depending on the Regional/Language settings on your computer. At this time they can only be disabled by doing the following: This example assumes we want to remove the French Language from OnGuard.
1. Create a folder in the OnGuard directory called “Backed up Language Files”
2. In the OnGuard directory do a search for all *_FRA.dll files
3. Cut and paste all files into the “Backed up Language Files” folder
4. Move the fr-FR folder (also in the OnGuard directory) into the “Backed up Language Files” folder.
Restart the computer and OnGuard should now read in English despite the Regional setting.
