Disable Language Packs in OnGuard versions 6.6.415 and higher
Procedure Steps
Starting in 6.6.415 the OnGuard language packs come with the installation. Language packs are installed depending on the computer Regional/Language. At this time they can only be disabled by doing the following:
This example removes the French Language from OnGuard.
- In the OnGuard directory, add a New Folder.
- Name the new folder Backed up Language Files.
- In the OnGuard directory, search for all *_FRA.dll files.
- Select all *_FRA.dll files.
- Cut and paste the files into the Backed up Language Files folder
- Move the fr-FR folder (also in the OnGuard directory) to the Backed up Language Files folder.
- Restart the computer. OnGuard should now display English.
