How to configure the MV1610 V-Pass FX as a USB enrollment reader
Procedure Steps
1) Verify and obtain the appropriate firmware.- Refer to the Third Party Hardware compatibility chart on the Partner Center for the correct version of OnGuard.
- All currently supported versions of OnGuard require reader firmware revision 9.60 with VeriAdmin 7.51.
2) Install the VeriAdmin software and reader firmware.
3) Run USB_Driver_CP210x_Bridge. This is found on the disc sent with the USB devices.
4) The default communication port is 3. If that port is in use, the next available port will be used.
5) Set the Aux port default and USB baud rate to 57600 bps.
6) In VeriAdmin, configure all other settings as follows:
