How do I configure a card format for HID 37-bit proximity cards (format S10401), previously used in an AMAG system?

1. In System Administration, from the Administration menu, select Card Formats....
2. Click [Add] and select Wiegand as the card format type.
3. Enter a name and facility code for the new card format. If there is no facility code, enter 0.
4. Enter the following additional information:

  • Total Number of Bits On Card: 37
  • Facility Code Starting Bit: 1 (if there is no facility code, enter 0)
  • Facility Code Number of Bits: 8 (if there is no facility code, enter 0)
  • Card Number Starting Bit: 9
  • Card Number Number of Bits: 27
  • Issue Code Starting Bit: 0
  • Issue Code Number of Bits: 0
  • Number of Even Parity Bits: 0
  • Number of Odd Parity Bits: 0
  • Special: None

5. Click [OK] to save the new card format.
6. Assign the new card format to the desired readers from the Readers form in System Administration.
