Symptom
The following error may occur when manually creating the AccessControl database:
"Create failed for database AccessControl"The following is additional information for this error:
"...an exception occured while executed a TransACT at SQL Statement or badge create database permission denied in database Master. MSQL error 262"
Resolution
To resolve this issue, log into the Management Studio with Admin rights:
- Close the Management Studio.
- Navaigate to Start > Programs > Microsoft SQL Server > SQL Server Management Studio.
- Right-click on the icon for the SQL Server Management Studio.
- Select Run as administrator.
