Symptom
The following error may appear during Database Setup. This error occurs after you click [Continue] to begin Database Setup.
"Could not load file or assembly 'System.Enterprise.services.Wrapper.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
"Could not load file or assembly 'System.Enterprise.services.Wrapper.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
Resolution
To resolve this issue, follow the steps below.
1) Uninstall .NET Framework 3.5.
2) Uninstall .NET Framework 3.0.
3) Uninstall .NET 2.0.
4) Reinstall .NET 2.0. This is located on the OnGuard Supplemental DVD revision 6, or can be downloaded from Microsoft.
5) Reinstall .NET 3.5. This is located on the OnGuard Supplemental DVD revision 8, or can be downloaded from Microsoft.
Once these steps are completed, Database Setup should launch without the error referenced in the Symptom section.
1) Uninstall .NET Framework 3.5.
2) Uninstall .NET Framework 3.0.
3) Uninstall .NET 2.0.
4) Reinstall .NET 2.0. This is located on the OnGuard Supplemental DVD revision 6, or can be downloaded from Microsoft.
5) Reinstall .NET 3.5. This is located on the OnGuard Supplemental DVD revision 8, or can be downloaded from Microsoft.
Once these steps are completed, Database Setup should launch without the error referenced in the Symptom section.
