Symptom
The Controller Encryption Tab is not displayed in System Administration > Administration Menu > System Options (non-segmented system) or System Administration > Segments (segmented systems).
Resolution
There are two reasons why the Controller Encryption Tab does not display:
- Permissions: The OnGuard User must have the Access Control, Controller Encryption permission in the assigned System Permission Group.
- FIPS mode is enabled: In System Administration > Administration Menu > General System Options Tab, there is a check box to enable FIPS mode Controller encryption. If this box is checked, the Controller Encryption Tab will not display.
