Question
When do you have to use the # symbol after entering the PIN?
Answer
You have to use the # symbol if the number of digits used for a PIN is less than the maximum allowed.
For example, if you use the setting for 1-4 digits and your PINs are only 3 digits long, you need to use the # symbol. If they are 4 digits long you do not need the # symbol.
You only need one # symbol at the end of a PIN even if there are more digits to meet the maximum. For example, if the PIN is set to 1-9 digits and your PINs are 4 digits long, you only need to enter in the PIN with one # symbol.
