What ports are used by Prism and LNVR, and what are the Microsoft requirements?
Answer
Prism and LNVR require the following ports:
- 135 client workstation/server communications port
- DCOM will use any random port between 1024 and 65535
- 443 Prism management server
- 554 RTSP port is configured by LNVR, and Prism uses this port for streaming
- 1433 client and database server (ODBC)
- 4001 client to communication server
- 4003 client to login driver server
- 4004 client to communication server
- 4006 client to archive server
- 4998 Prism client/server inbound rules
- 4999 Prism client/server inbound rules
- 5000 Prism client/server inbound rules
- 5001 Prism client/server inbound rules
- 5671 Prism client/server inbound rules
- 5672 Prism client/server inbound rules
- 6699 controller communications port
- 8085 start video communications port range (3)
- 8088 server workstation video streaming port
- 8089 start video viewer port range (20)
- 50000 - 65535 Prism client/server inbound rules
Note: This diagram does not show that for PTZ, the client is using DCOM with an LNVR.
