No alarms appear in Alarm Monitoring from EST-3 fire panel using SNMP protocol

Symptom

No alarms appear in Alarm Monitoring from an EST-3 fire panel that is configured to communicate using the SNMP protocol.

This issue occurs even after following the "SNMP Managers Folder" steps described in the System Administration User Guide.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, confirm that UDP ports 161 and 162 are not being blocked or scanned on any computers or network equipment between the EST-3 fire panel and the computer running the Communication Server service.
