Symptom
After creating and saving a new map in MapDesigner, it does not appear in the Map and System Configuration Objects list in MapDesigner.
To refresh the Map and System Configuration Objects list, perform one of the following actions:
- Press < F5 > .
- In MapDesigner, select View > Refresh Tree.
- In MapDesigner, click the Refresh icon.
- Log out of MapDesigner, then log back in.
After MapDesigner has been refreshed, the new map will appear in the Map and System Configuration Objects list, and you can then link the new map to another map.
Resolution
The Map and System Configuration Objects list does not automatically refresh after a new map is saved. Actions that require the new map to appear in the list cannot be completed until MapDesigner has been refreshed.To refresh the Map and System Configuration Objects list, perform one of the following actions:
