Manual unattended client deployment does not check for or install the required software prior to installing the client package.
Dependencies such as Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages and SQL ODBC driver are not installed.
Procedure Steps
Dependent components need to be manually installed, pushed through SCCM to clients, or remotely installed in some other way such as PowerShell, PSExec, and so on.
A list of dependencies can be found for each version of OnGuard on the installation media in \ISSetupPrerequisites.
Crystal Reports can be found in the installation media in \Windows\Temp\Crystal.
Example: Using the OnGuard 7.4 installation media in \ISSetupPrerequisites, assuming a 64-bit Windows host:
- vcredist_x64.exe – Visual C++ 2010 x64 - required
- vcredist_x86.exe – Visual C++ 2013 x86 - required
- vc_redist.x86.exe – Visual C++ 2015 x86 - required
- vcredist_x86.exe – Visual C++ 2010 x86 - required
- msodbcsql.msi – ODBC 13 for Windows 32 bit - not required in x64
- msodbcsql.msi – ODBC 13 for Windows 64 bit - required
- setup.exe – Lenel AppContext Common Component
- CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_16.msi – Crystal Reports Runtime Engine
