How to integrate a Galaxy Dimension intrusion panel with OnGuard
Procedure Steps
1) Spy key version 5.56 must be applied to the Galaxy Dimension panel, to configure it as a G3 panel. The spy key can be obtained from Honeywell. Note that each spy key is unique, so each time this step is done, a new spy key must be obtained.2) In the Galaxy Dimension panel configuration, select option 56 for Communications.
3) Select option 6 for RS232.
4) Change the mode to Direct.
5) Select option 2 for Format, and select Microtech.
6) Enable custom zones and all other options in step 5.
Once the Galaxy Dimension panel is online, all zones, areas and users can be created in OnGuard. Refer to the Intrusion Detection User Guide for more information.
