How to configure an NGP-1208
Procedure Steps
The NGP-1208 boards are output expanders that are used to add additional output points to the system in groups of eight. The NGP controller can be licensed to support a maximum of sixteen output relay control modules.
The NGP-1208 must be attached to the NGP-1100 input control module using the VBUS connection. Up to four NGP-1208's can be connected to any one NGP-1100. Consult the NGP Hardware Installation Guide for Hardware instructions.
To configure NGP-1208(s) within OnGuard:
1. In System Administration, navigate to Access Control > Alarm Panels.
2. Select the Alarm Panels tab
3. Select the NGP-1100 panel to which the NGP-1208(s) will be connected and click Modify.
4. Change the Number of Outputs to 8*(number of NGP-1208(s)).
5. Click OK.
For example, if there will be two NGP-1208 boards connected to an NGP-1100 named "Labs":
1. In System Administration, navigate to Access Control > Alarm Panels.
2. Select the Alarm Panels tab
3. Select "Labs" and click Modify
4. Change the Number of Outputs to 16.
5. Click OK

Note: The Number of Inputs will be 16 for each NGP-1100.
